Wow. Wow. Wow. Nice one. Worth visiting Erasmus every time you’re in Brugge, just in case this is available. Delicious.

The aroma is a slight barnyard, cherries and currents. The appearance is fizzy with a fully diminishing light brownish red head. The body is cloudy with lots of small particles, looks like a dark red strawberry. The flavor is a bitter/sour taste with a finish of sweet cherries. Different but good.

Belle couleur rouge lumineux, faible quantité de mousse rose pâle laissant un cerceau sur le rebord du verre. Arômes tranchants de cerises sûres fraîches et d’acidité sous de faibles notes de bois. Très tartrique en bouche, acidité prononcée jouant sur une longue finale de fruits, aucun soupçon de sucre. Corps semi mince, faible carbonatation restant en arrière plan et donnant l’adéquate touche de vie à ce précieux liquide. Absolument rien à voir avec les produits commerciaux de cette même brasserie. En fût au Kulminator, Janvier 2006.

My well i saw this from looking through the site and saw that it was on in the kulminator when i was there to see that i hadnt rated so after serching and pritty much given up, i found it, and it is a seriously minimaly rating for it being so high. Aroma is sour and lightly nutty, with malt anc cherrys playing. Taste is also malty nutty with cherry being donimant, sweetish finish, short. An excellent beer and now i see the other rating and how iv discovered flemish sour ales in the way i have i want more. RERATE, draught at the kulminator. A solid super drinkable sour cherry ale, that i could session til it was coming out my ears.

Tomato juice to red blood in colour, with no head. Wonderful sour cherries in aroma, like a purée. In mouth, delihtful sour cherries with light acidic notes, very deep smooth bodied, beautiful ale. About 3 yrs old, on tap at Erasmus, kindly offered by the owner. Merci Monsieur!

[RBG Low Countries 2005] Aroma of cherries. Not too strong. Cloudy, red coloured with a very thin white-pink head. Bit sticky start. Cherries taste is not too strong, fruity however. Very tart and oaky. Dry brew.

Drauhgt at Kulminator in Antwerp - the place besides Erasmus in Brugge which has it - so don’t believe the owner from Eramus that he is the only one who has it and argues with you when you say you had. BTW - if you have something special like this it should be on the chalk menue as ongezoet and not just as Liefmans Kriek - the children beer. Ok - now up to the beer: Dark red clor, acidic sour vinegar-basmico nose. Wonderful taste - very intense sour cherry taste with a long lasting dry finish.

Tap at Kulminator. Cloudy pink color, big pink head. Intense fruity aroma, lots of cherry, quite tart. Taste is very tart, very fruity. I could drink this stuff over and over again.
