ross (1562), charlotte, North Carolina, USA Mar 13, 2008 Bottle. Pours out a dark red color with a fluffy yellowish / white colored head. Smell is full of cherries and some oak flavors. Not much going on here other than the cherries. Taste is very much full of cherries, but there is a nice sour kick to it too. Most beers I have had from these guys arent the best, but this one was pretty good actually. I would drink it again.
dkachur (893), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Oct 5, 2008 Served on draft at Tyler’s Taproom in Durham, NC. Deep red pour with a moderate head. Aroma and taste are both strong cherry with some tart notes, but also a lot of sugar. Candy-sweet, too sweet for a good kriek, though it would serve well as an entry level sour beer. NoiZe (947), Zeist, Netherlands Oct 4, 2008 Red, dark amber colored brew. Sweet aroma, cherries, berries, nice. Flavor is sweet, cherries, berries again. Some nice subtile sourness in the aftertaste. Nice balanced taste. Together with the aroma it’s a nice balanced brew with different flavors all around. rodenbach99 (428), Longueuil, Quebec, Canada Oct 2, 2008 bouteille 350ml avec bouchon de liège 2006, belle bière brune-rouge, belle mousse, nez aigre et cerise, bouche qui donne des frissons, cerises, surette, parfait pineybob (8), MYSTIC ISLANDS, New Jersey, USA does not count Sep 26, 2008 Hear a rumor that Liefmans is out of business can anyone confirm?
