(Bottle 33 cl) This is 4,5% ABV. Reddish brown, clear with a small head. Almost no body, a bit watery with some slight, metallic notes being the only obvious flavour. Prettty much no bitterness. A touch of wine vinegar with a small underlying sweetness. But formidably quenching. 190998

Light chestnut colour, relatively weak head. The aroma is scarce; syrupy, raspberry, metallic. Much richer in the flavour, which is juicy, sweetish (like burnt sugar) and citric acidic. A bit ticklish, a bit filling on the palate.

Vintage 2002. Dusty but lovely bottle. The ale is more fresh and "cleaner" than expected. Fruity sour finsih. A nice sour ale.

Dark tawney with decent ligth brown head. Sweet arome with notes of rasins. Flavor is soft and smooth with some sourness, swetness and dryed fruits.

Earthy cherry, sweet rum-raisins and tart citric, cobwebbed sourdough aroma. Cloudy red, low creamy brown head. Wonderfull complexity - cheese, cherry, rye, dust, wood. Citric aftertaste, sparkly mouthfeel.

Nice balence of fruity and sour. Pleasing dark brown, no haze, creamy, but short lasting head. Light lacing.

Dec 2004, Swedish dregs, Alts etc tasting w/MartinT, tiggmtl and Rastacouere #9. 33 cl bottle. Muddy brown with a smallish lasting wisp of foam...grapes and black currants dominate the sweet-sour fruity vinous nose...sweet initial flavor, salty middle, sour apple finish...highly drinkable, rustic and slightly woody at the last; far from a great example, but pleasant and simple.

Dry, woody, grapey, somewhat sweaty aroma. Dark amber-brown with shy tan partial cover of head. Sour apple cider vinegar-like flavour balances a sweet malt with lightly salty finish. Mouthfeel is very still and simple and rather watery in body. Bottle sampled with MartinT, muzzlehatch and Rastacouere.
