Palate is sour and dry, but with a hint of caramel and cherry sweetness and also quite balsmaic. Nicely tart and theres a few different flavour in here. I thought it was quite fun to drink. chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2004 An extremely woody beer, with balsamic vinegar aromas, musty malt flavours and an astringent sour finish. Interesting, but not entirely enjoyable. Perhaps these Flemish sours are just not my thing. Perhaps I just need to work at them a bit more. Bottled at GBBF 2004.

Slightly tart body, with some toffeeish malt. Quite refreshing with the late tartness. Fine session brew. SilkTork (4184), Rochester, Kent, England

Some wood. Difficult and unpleasant to drink. And I usually love Flemish Reds. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Jul 28, 2004 (on bottle) i´m really working on these flemish beers, they´re a bit dificult, but here´s a winner. The aroma is not good; raisin with moth - ltos of it. That gets a very nice balanced kick by the big cabonaion and a strong balsamic(red)mouthfeeling. Ends pretty watery, but that is good compared to other flemish beers witch just is soooo sour. Dalle (1146), Skørping, Denmark
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 27, 2004 Dark brown with small head. Sour (balsamico), malty, well-balanced, light-bodied. Very nice. fiulijn (7420), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
