The aroma is slightly sour with notes of prunes and wood. The color is an unclear brown and it has a small disappearing head. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of wood and prunes. A nice flemish sour ale.

(Bottle 33 cl) This is 4,5% ABV. Reddish brown, clear with a small head. Almost no body, a bit watery with some slight, metallic notes being the only obvious flavour. Prettty much no bitterness. A touch of wine vinegar with a small underlying sweetness. But formidably quenching. 190998

Bottled. Chestnut brown. Acidic and balsamic. Clean, rather hard maltiness, notes of black cherries and a caramel malt finish. Very pleasant.

33 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden deep amber to brown with a fully diminished light tan head. Aroma is chemical to sweet raisin. Malty and slight metallic yeasty with a light acidic touch towards sourish. Fruity towards cherry yet also a bit on the malty side and acidic. Towards dry acidic finish, slight watery.

Bottle 33cl. @ home.
[ Trade by MesandSim ]. Clear medium red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair - virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark berry acidic and sour, oxidid malt, vintage, old cherry, sour sweet cherry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. Thanks so much Paul for letting me have this lovely beer ;o)) [20081206]

Bottle. Weak raisin aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Raisin flavour, slightly oxidized. No BB date, but probably 3 to 4 years ago.

Ruby-brown colour. Sweet & sour, slightly nutty aroma. Slightly tart body, with some toffeeish malt. Quite refreshing with the late tartness. Fine session brew.

Dark amber to brown color; poor head. Refreshing Oud Bruin, balanced and with some sweetness to balance the (low) sourness, but not exceptional.
