Bottle. Deep red, brown colour. Dissipating head. Huge aroma, acidic, almost gueuzeish. Marvellous. Cloying palate detracts from a higher score. Still.. this is damn good.

Brown in color with ruby highlights and a medium off-white head. Aroma of rich fruit and a touch of acidity, oak and malt. Sweet malt flavors balance with acidic notes, fruit and tartness.

Light brown coloured, lots of carbonation and an average white head. Nice fruity, sour-hoppy and malty aroma with a sweet-sour (appel) taste. Finish is light sour. A very nice flemish sour ale.

Nice dark color. The aroma was like vinegar. The taste was like vinegar. Vinegar vinegar vinegar (is that 75 characters yet?).

25 cL, capped bottle (March 2007 on the cap): extremely dark, mahogany with a diminishing thin, strong taupe cream. Rich fruity aroma: blueberries, black cherries, dark juicy raisins, and rhubarb with hints of cinnamon, brown sugar and lightly bitter caramel. Creamy, well carbonated and tingly on the tongue. The flavours are considerably more sweet than acidic or sour and I find myself wishing there was more tartness. Pretty tasty, Thanks for sharing D.

Nice, clear, deep red color with a small, bubbly head. Sour-sweet aroma with oak and cherry hints. Oaky, sweet-sour, quite balanced flavor with pear hints. Light to medium-bodied palate with lemonadey carbonation. A quite nice, easy and balanced oud bruin.
