Dark brown, very thin head. Softly tart aroma with sweet malts. Flavor is lightly sour and sweet malty with raspberry-notes. Medium to full bodied with strong, but soft carbonation. Overall nicely vinous summer evening’s brew.

Bottle. Sorry, but I just don´t like this style, and can´t find much positive to say about it. Reddish brown beer with small head. Unclear. Aroma sour and vineous. Taste sour with some cherries and a little sweetness.

Bottle @ Microbar, Clapham. Pours dark brown with little to no head. Aroma of raisins, dark fruits, sour, malts. Taste is vinous, berries, straw like, woody. Not a bad beer.

Bottle @ Microbar, Clapham, London. Nose of vinegar, sour apples, malt and molasses. Pours a dark ruby coloured beer giving a small whit ehead. Taste is tart, malty with vinegar and vinous notes and a syrup red wine finish. Although it has the right ingredients it just doesn’t "get you there" like other sour ales do.

330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki, Belgian Beer Week 2008)
Hazy brown with orange glints, thin head. Softly sour and rich malty aroma, a hint of piss. A little apple in the sour taste, creamy in the maltiness, and very well balanced between the sour and the sweet. Mellow and refreshing.

Bottled. Brownish ambery colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sourness, cherries and wet wood. Flavour is very sour fruity and wooden notes with also some wineous hints. Quite brutal breakfast beer. I was surprised by that an Oud Bruin would be a sour ale, but in a very positive way. Nice.
