Commercial Description:
Liefmans is a unique, refreshing blend of beers, ripened on real cherries in our cellars, blended with natural fruitjuices of strawberry, raspberry, cherry, billberry and elderberry. The result is a slightly Champenoise pearling, fruity, and agreably sweet drink, sparkling and refreshing.

Tap @ YNWA, Kolding.
Pours a lovely, clear metallic red with a small, staying, frothy, pink head. Aroma has lots of fresh berries. Raspberries, strawberries dominate. Medium carbonation, a tad on the thin side. Flavour is lightly fruity sweet. Some dryness and a very slight tartness. Lots of berries, almost like "Rynkeby saft". But fairly fresh and natural.

Fruity beer, remembering of jelly for a sandwich. Taste is very much like strawberries and cherries, as depicted on the label. Too bad the taste is a little too chemically sweet, might get some tummy-ache if you drink too much of this...

Bottle 25 cl. Pous a clear red with a small, lacing pinkish head. Extreme berry-like aroma. Thin body, all fruit to an extreme degree, artificial sweetness. A little tart and dry in the finish. A fruit beer brought to an extreme. 091109

Bottled. A deep red beer with a pink head. The aroma has notes of cherries and nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, cherries, and almonds, leading to a dry finish.

The bottle in the pic (referred to as Liefmans Fruitbeer) at the Hopdevil in Zagreb
Lovely red body with a small pinkish head. A pungent fruity aroma wafted from the glass... stronger than expected and pleasant, strawberries and raspberries. Sweet, almost sugary fruity berry taste, would’ve pegged it down as artificial if not for the finish/aftertaste that gets earthier, drier, can’t really express myself but some berries do that. A fine enough fruitbeer, had far worse.

Bottle @ HJ Hansen, Odense. Pours pink with a small white head. Aroma and taste are sweet cherries and marzipan. But it is drinkable. Smooth, sweet and vaguely sticky. Ok

25cl, new brew Anno 2009, from De Hopduvel Gent, not complex sweet fruit brew, yet easy to drink, not balanced, clear, good head, nothing special

25 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden redish with a small pink head. Sweet and cherry, strawberry and raspberry fruity aroma. Dominant sweet raspberry and strawberry fruity aroma. Sweet berry fruity finish. Vague marzipan touch.
