bhensonb (2687), Woodland, California, USA Jul 5, 2008 Bomber from South Bay Drugs. Dark gold color with a decent white head. Aromas of pale malt and grassy? hop. The aroma suggests a beer that is better than average. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. And that’s an understatement. My brain is reeling, but the alcohol is not impacting the aroma or flavor. Finish is very tasty. It’s not dry, but it is really tasty. Good lager. zathrus13 (1042), Mount Laurel, New Jersey, USA Jul 1, 2008 Pours yellow/gold, with a white head. Aroma is hops, grain, malt, and corn. Flavor is grain, alcohol, corn, sugar, and hops. Heavier body than expected. Decent stuff. mjg74 (1720), La Mesa, California, USA Jun 23, 2008 Bottle from Bev4Less. Dark golden in color upon pouring. Slightly sweet grainy aroma, with some corn. Fulll flavored graininess with a bit of alcohol and corn. Somewhat bitter in the finish. This is an interesting brew. Some malt liquor qualities, but still drinkable and fairly refreshing. stefanje (466), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Jun 20, 2008 Updated: Jun 21, 2008650 ml bottle from Bev4less. Pours a slightly hazy dark-gold color with a medium white head that soon fades to a thin film. The aroma showed distinctly fresh corn in the forefront with a bit of red fruits. The Flavor shows more corn, biter walnuts, fresh green herbs, and sweet grains. The alcohol is present everywhere. The mouthfeel is rather heavy with lively carbonation. The finish is long with biter nuts. Overall: An imperial lager if you ask me. Not bad, but not gonna try it again. ABUSEDGOAT (1858), California, USA Jun 13, 2008 Clear golden yellow, large head with decent lacing and retention. Aroma is sweet with notes of grain and corn, some grass. Lighter bodied, quite sweet with some alcohol in the finish. .
