Sep 9, 2006 On Tap at The Wit’s End in San Diego, CA. A very smotth Hefeweizen with a nice lemony finish. Not the best of its type of every had, but it is very good and quite drinkable I would definetly have it again.

Jun 28, 2008 Draught at Stone. Pours with a cloudy orange body and a white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is clove, then vanilla then banana. Taste is strongly banana, then a bit of citrus acidity.

May 16, 2007 A clovey aroma on top of a cloudy yellowish orange beer. Also slightly fruity. Flavor is clove, sweet bannana, and a little citrus. Drinkable and thirst quenching. Pleasant.

Oct 11, 2006 Updated: Dec 27, 2006Pours with a slightly cloudy, yellow body topped by a thin head with some lacing. It’s sweet yet slighlty sour with notes of banana and clove as well as a touch of citrus. A very nice hefeweizen. Light bodied, crisp and dry.

Jul 14, 2007 Updated: Sep 16, 2008Rerate; had this the second time at San Diego Brewing Co. Liked it just a bit more; upped from 3.5 to 3.7(On tap at Stone; new to this brewery. Flavor and aroma were both solid, probably above average for the style. Elements of banana, yeast, clove and citrus. Good palate; nice and easy drinking)

May 4, 2008 On tap at Churchill’s in San Marcos, CA--Bright orange-yellow body with a great fluffy white head. Great looking beer! Bavarian, nutty, crisp, banana-clove nose. Great wheat presence. I really liked this beer!

Jan 29, 2008 On tap @ O’Brien’s San Diego. Nose was very sweet and yeasty. Clove spice, banana, and citrus were present. Flavor was much like the nose, very sweet and yeasty. Not my cup of tea but, I can appreciate a good quality brew when I taste one.....nice.
