From tap@the brewpub. Nice apperance; a stable, lightly tanned head over a clear, deep reddish-amber body. Predominant, inviting aroma of delicate sweet cream-caramel and toffee. Also some nutty notes, and a pleasant scent of dark fruits and hay. Taste is much drier than the aroma indicate. A medium strong, clean, light bready, caramelly malt body is backed by a well prononced, earthy and grassy hop bitterness. Some sourish and fruity undertones. Body is medium to light. Lively, almost sparkling mouthfeel. Finishes quite dry, malty and well rounded, with a fine bitterness.

Draught at the brewpub. The same fresh and moreish feeling as their other beers. Toffee, quite sweet. Grain, cereals, malt, you can really taste the raw materials. Sweet, but there is enogh bitterness to make a pleasantly balanced beer.

On tap at brewpub. Clear, dark reddish orange with a good sized light brown head. Aroma is packed with sweet, sweet butterscotch, with the slightest hint of chocolate and toasty bready notes. Taking a sip, sweet butterscotch is still the main thing, along with toasted grainy and bready notes, a hint of yeast, and a cleansing bitter finish which was absolutely necessary to balance this otherwise sweet brew, makes it very drinkable. Medium body, carbonation was sparkly, yet the beer felt smooth and creamy. Nice one.
