Classic ruby/brown color, aroma’s of fruits and grainy malts, slightly toasted. Taste is sililar to the smell, aftertaste is perfection in sweetness and toasted bitters. altonbrownd (1961), Amsterdam, Netherlands

It has a really strong, wicked aftertaste. My man Arne hooked me up with a remaining bottle of it. Papsoe (15107), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 8, 2005 (Bottle 30 cl) Ruby red is what the label claims this beer to be, I’d rather call it mahogany. But pretty it is indeed, with a reddish brown, full, almost greasy head. Very full-bodied, lots of dry caramel with some sweet notes. Some bitterness for balance which succeeds completely making this a very well crafted and harmonious Bock. A beer of very high quality. 080903 Liberty (52), Stompwijk, Netherlands

Tasted this beer on the Bockbeer festival in Utrecht, The Netherlands, on draft. A nice beer, but not especially a bock in my opinion. A amber color. There is a nice balance between sweetness (caramel) and bitterness (hops).
