Pours deep red with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel. Soft carbonation, okay dry mouthfeel. Flavour is light metallic, but there is lots of good caramel, some dry, flowery hops. Fine malty balance. Okay. mbuisman79 (153), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Redish brown of color, the smell invites me to take a nip. It makes me take a few bites in a row, and the taste is lavashing. An overwhelmingly good balance of bitter, and just off sweet. The bitters haunt me in a nice way. This beer calls for more. A bock to remember among all the too sweet ones around. MoritzF (4995), Bochum, Germany
