Thx to Joris. Quite nice amberish pour with a small off-white head. In the nose, mandarines, presence of alcohol and some canned pineapple. Taste is sweet, slightly fruity & malty, some caramel notes & alcaholic. Sweet aftertaste.

Tap (PINT BBF 09):Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, big stable and lacy head; dark malt and molasses in the nose; medium bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; slightly increasing bitterness in the caramelly-fruity finish, accompanied by shy aromatic hops. Pleasant......

Tap @ The Dutch Bockbier Festival, 2009.
Pours deep red with a small, staying, creamy, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel. Soft carbonation, okay dry mouthfeel. Flavour is light metallic, but there is lots of good caramel, some dry, flowery hops. Fine malty balance. Okay.

Smell of coffeegrinds. Clear ruby red. First sip is very good but after that nothing really happens. Decent Bock

Served at 10 degrees Celsius. This beer poors a nice head. Redish brown of color, the smell invites me to take a nip. It makes me take a few bites in a row, and the taste is lavashing. An overwhelmingly good balance of bitter, and just off sweet. The bitters haunt me in a nice way. This beer calls for more. A bock to remember among all the too sweet ones around.

[30cl bottle] Clear, reddish brown colour with a big and slowly lacing foamy head. Sweet and delicately toasted malty aroma with notes of toffee and herbal hops. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, calm mouthfeel. Toast-malty, sweet-bitter finish, slightly hoppy with a rather harsh alcoholic note in the aftertaste. Unexciting dark Bock [12.I.09].

Bottle @ home. Clear deep dark brown-red colour, creamy beige head. Aroma of raisins, very port-like, malts and some other dark fruits. Flavour is raisins, chocolate, roasted malts. Rather sweet. Becomes a bit cloying and thin towards the end, still rather nice bock though.

Draught at Bokbierfestival 2008 as Lindeboom Bockbier. Quite bready flavour, mild and ryeish. Clear dark brown colour. Big stable creamy tan head. Pleasant.
