Bottle 300ml.
Clear dark red amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, bread, brown sugar, light roasted and caramel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091114]

Bottled. A hazy chestnut colored beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of bread and caramel. The flavor is very sweet - unfortunately artificially and notes of caramel. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle 30 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear oranget brown with a beige head. Sweet aroma of roasted malt. Medium body, roasted malt, burned caramel and an edge of cardboard. Hardly any bitterness. 141109

Bottle, 3.5%. Clear very dark brown colour. Very small light brown head. The flavour is sweet, has a little dark bread. Low bitterness. Aspartame aftertaste.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Dark brown. Slight head. Sugary, corn nose. Strange taste. Some honey, some burnt sugar, some water. Wholly unimpressive, perhaps due to the low alcohol content.

Bottle at In De Wildeman. Mellow, slightly sweet corn aroma. Taste is very interesting, like Malta Goya, not quite as sweet, with good bread notes. Carbonation is in check and perfect. Definitely not an Oud Bruin, but certainly an interesting and very different beer.

Tasted at Amsterdam train station cafe. Dark colour but quite brown, not bodied, easy taste, nothing stays so much at later. not speacial beer.
