Lindemans Apple (Pomme)

250ml bottle as Lindemans Apple 4% abv. at Trägårn, Kiruna. Cloudy, orange coloured body. Low, bubbly head. Fragile lacework. Smell of green apples. Sweet flavour of ripe apples coupled with spices. Farewell hints of acidity. Alright as a dessert after dinner at the bistro (shared with Finn, 29.10.2009).

How’d it look? Not too great. It poured our a generic golden color but it had a slight green tint to it and it was a tad cloudy. It produced a nice film, but no head. The smell was great though - just like a sour green apple drink. Personally, I think this should be a girl’s drink. There was also a slight alcohol scent. It tasted just like we expected - amazing. It tastes just like sour green apple flavoring and there’s almost no beer taste. You could get sufficiently buzzed without knowing it with this beer. It was pretty smooth, although it had no body. There was also a nice fizz that followed the sour taste.

Pours greenish yellow in color with a nice robust off-white head. It, of course, smells like green apples - in a way you would expect from a good cider. The taste is strong, sour green apples, slight alcohol sting, and other sweet fruits in the background.

Tastes of sour green apples but still it’s very pleasant. Can’t imagine drinking it too often but once a time it’s a good refreshener. The negative fact is that it’s only 0.25L.

Gold brew with the slightest of hazy and a really good white head. Strong "apple drink" smell, a bit of toilet, honey bread, light spice, interesting aroma that is quite fragrant. Mulled apple flavours, clovey apple cider, yeasty and tart. Tasty but too much like an apple cider. Very drinkable. Finishes with a thick sourness.

Bottle. A lot of apples in aroma and flavor. Also a bit of cinnamon and some light sourness. A very refreshing beer, very easy to drink.

Pours a pale yellow with a one finger sized head. The aroma is of red and green apples, almost artificial. Gala, golden delicious, and granny smith on the nose. No sourness or malt on the nose. The taste is sweet and slightly tart. Once again, all apples. There really isn’t much going on here. Nice mouth feel. This beer on the other hand, not so nice.

Nice no-thinking beer. Very easy drinking, almost session-like as far as atmosphere/feeling it creates. Head didn’t keep as well as I would’ve liked, nice golden body color.
