(drought at Eli Cannon’s in Middletown CT)

nice tartness and complexity but I don’t really care for the sweet-apple accent.

at least it’s not as sweet as their framboise and kriek.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden body with a thin white head. Sweet somewhat cloying with apple notes, light tart notes, candy flavored apple tones. Sweet and slightly citric. Not so much for me.

Bottle. Apple juice aroma. Light golden body with thin dissipating head. Strong apple flavor which tastes like a cider, hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. medium dry body with a sour finish

Light apple aroma. Pours a bubbley gold. Tastes like a sparkling cider; champagne-like. Ok for a sweet fruit beer.

Bottle. Pours a gold color with a foamy white head. Taste is of tart apples, floral and some wheat. Reminds me of apple juice or a cider. Tart and a little sour. Slightly sweet, but not as sweet as I had imagined it would be. Similar aroma. Nice, but not as good as their other offerings.

Since I’m rating beer here, my girlfriend wants to try out some different drinks as well. Went to the beer store today and bought her some lambics. She loves this one already. Pours golden yellow with a small, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of apples (how surprising), but with a bit of yeast and some grains. Tastes sour, sweet and almost like champagne, well made fruit beer. Long finish of apples, apples, appl.....
