Flavor is slightly acidic and tart but the sweet apple dominates. Good brew. cakanator (41), Northampton, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Not a bad fruit beer overall. More like a cider than anything crisp granny smith apples. Not as rich as the framboise, but still good enough. Kriek is still my favorite. stchloe (492), Portland, Oregon, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2008 Its no raspberry framboise but still very good. A cider that is more tart and expensive than its counterparts. wetherel (1637), Encinitas, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 21, 2008 375mL bottle from Tip Top. Very green bottle. Aroma has a huge amount of skunk. Is that light-struck hops? I don’t think so, because the beer has virtually no hops. After 10 minutes, the skunk fades to synthetic green apple. Yellow color. Sweet. My impression today is completely different from my memory of the beer 2 years ago. WeeHeavySD (3016), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2008 strong Granny Smith aroma, VERY apple flavor with a biting aftertaste. Its too appley and seems like a tart apple treat more than an easy drinking alcoholic beverage, and I LIKE cold beverages... tomer (380), Rishon Le Zion, Israel
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 9, 2008 0.25L bottle. Almost no head, murky yellow colour, aroma of sour apple and cinamon, strong carbonation, taste of apple which is quite one dimensional. The sweetness is not sickly but steel unappealing, aftertaste is sour but quite short, with a strange dry sensation left in the throat.
Can’t decide exactly whether this is a beer, an unappealing soft fizzy drink, or a boring cider. Whatever it is, i think apple is best left out of lambics. harrisoni (6829), Ashford, Kent, England
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 8, 2008 Bottle from Dranken Geers. Cloudy gold, thin white head. Lots of sweet green apple. It’s a sweet apple drink. I mean it’s just like the blackcurrant one, but with sweet green apple instead.
