Bottle from Dranken Geers. Cloudy gold, thin white head. Lots of sweet green apple. It’s a sweet apple drink. I mean it’s just like the blackcurrant one, but with sweet green apple instead.

Draft @ Fat Heads. Pours a murky, pulpy dull peachy/grapefruit color; thin off-white head. Apple Jolly Ranchers, crisp apples, and slight mustiness and tartness in the aroma; touch overripe, but nice. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of apples, Jolly Ranchers, and candied apples; lightly tart; certainly not anything close to authentic, but solid fruit character, and I’ve never been steered awry by an apple Jolly Rancher; lightly tart and dry, and quite pleasant overall. Medium finish: overripe apples, Jolly Ranchers, and touches of sugar.

Very sweet and tart beer with a highly carbonated body. Fresh and a bit candy-ish. Kind of enjoyable in its simplicity.

Bottle at Volo. Clear yellow-gold with a tiny white head. Big apple juice aroma. Light, refreshing body. Flavour is apple all the way - quite sweet off the top, slightly artificial-tasting, developing a bit of tartness in the finish. Not completely awful, but I’m glad I took a sample from a friend’s bottle rather than buying a whole one for myself.

Bottle. Cloudy amber pour. Light, creamy looking white head that dissipated quickly. Lacy leftovers stayed and clung to the glass as I drank. Nice smooth apple aroma hinted of cinnamin. Simple smelling, not too subtle. Flavor was sweet and tart, bright with apple, and again hinted of cinnamin. Sharpness gained as the brew warmed up. I enjoyed this as I played poker, and would be interested in tasting a nice cider in comparison. Definitely enjoyable.

Bottle: not bad...weak sourness, weak lambic barnyard notes, both fresh sweet red apple and sour green apple notes, a bit too sugery which gives somewhat artifcial flavor, sweet finish, again, not bad but can’t drink too much of it.

Golden color......a little hazy. Fluffy head......pungent aroma of green apples. Very sweet apple flavor up front. Mouthfeel has just a hit of crispness. Sweet fruit flavor continues into the back, though balanced by a few tart notes......long, apple-filled finish. A very easy drinking lambic.

Bottled 25cl. It pours a hazy golden beer with a white head. The nose is mainly of apples. Very sweet taste. Lots of candy showing up. Apple dominating. Light finish. Decent.
