Nice golden appearance, with a taste reminiscent of cider, but with a more delicate sweetness and apple taste. A head that dissipates quickly, and a taste that isn’t terribly complex, but does quite well on the one note it hits - apple! Imaena (259), Portland, Maine, USA

Thakns to daknole for sending this. I probably would never purchase one myself but revisiting a Lindeman’s lambic revealed why they are the safest gateway into the world of sour beers. More sweet and sugary than tart this was like that recent soft drink based on green Jolly Ranchers.
Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy brownish body was a bit murkier than I anticipated. The trace of sourness was hidden by a strong Jolly Rancher note with malt on the edges. Unlike its more serious counterparts (Cantillon, 3F, etc) this was not intense at all.
Flavor / Palate - A blend of sweet and sour tickled the tongue before depositing a candy taste in the throat. That flavor was a blend of Jolly Ranchers and green Sour Patch Kids. With the aggressiveness present in other companies offerings this was slightly above average. The only thing going for it is the drinkability; this can be finished in a short time without any chance of stomach rebellion. If the price point were less than $5.99 it might be a better value.
