The added flavoring is a bit too obvious. Applejuice with alcohol; if you’re into that you may love this stuff. jalichio999 (502), Brazil

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 3, 2007 Bottle. Greenish blonde color, hazy. Sweet apples in the aroma. Sweet and sour flavor with apples. Sugary and sticky, yet fairly fresh. Somewhat artificial, hint of aspartame. Drinkable, but too sweet and sticky for my taste. lukeris (5), USA does not count | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 8/20 | Nov 30, 2007 I tried this at a large beer tasting and I could smell it from about ten feet away from the table. The aroma made me remember summer camp... those apple jolly rancher sticks. Not as artificial, no, but certainly as intense. Not for the faint of fruity. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA

smell is of apples, malt, very sweet smell.
taste is of green apples, hard cider, sweet yet tart, leaves the mouth dry and just a little bitter.
overall this was rather enjoyable, maybe just a bit too sweet. Nate (2552), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 21, 2007 Draught at Sharp Edge Creekhouse. Big sweet apple pie aroma. Ethyl acetate, apple, sugar. Like a Jolly Rancher. Hazy pale apple juice, pale gold. Thin lacing white head. Medium-light body, with medium carbonation. Really sweet, like apple juice or sweet cider. Big Jolly Rancher flavor, no bitterness. Mild caramel in there, too. Nice dessert beer, but not for much else. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Bottle. Pours with a golden color. Aroams are not surprisngly of tart apples, flavors are also mainly that of Granny Smith apples. It has a champgane like effervescence, but the apple is abit too overpowering. This is more like an apple cider, not like beer it lacks any malt component.
