The aroma made me remember summer camp... those apple jolly rancher sticks. Not as artificial, no, but certainly as intense. Not for the faint of fruity. dankman38 (228), Somewhere in, Ohio, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 21, 2007 Draught at Sharp Edge Creekhouse. Big sweet apple pie aroma. Ethyl acetate, apple, sugar. Like a Jolly Rancher. Hazy pale apple juice, pale gold. Thin lacing white head. Medium-light body, with medium carbonation. Really sweet, like apple juice or sweet cider. Big Jolly Rancher flavor, no bitterness. Mild caramel in there, too. Nice dessert beer, but not for much else. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Bottle. Pours with a golden color. Aroams are not surprisngly of tart apples, flavors are also mainly that of Granny Smith apples. It has a champgane like effervescence, but the apple is abit too overpowering. This is more like an apple cider, not like beer it lacks any malt component. Ungstrup (15336), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 19, 2007 Bottled. A dark golden beer with a medium sized bubbly beige head. The aroma is sweet with very strong notes of apples and hints of brettanomyces. The flavor is a combination of sweet and acidic, the acidity draws some mouthwater after the sweetnes resides, combined with a fresh apple note - somewhat like chewing on an unripe apple - a slight sweetness soon overcome by acidity. The finish is slightly acidic with hints of brettanomyces. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA

Nice cidery green apple aroma with a dash of musty yeast. Flavor is sweet yet tart, green apples and wild yeast. Flavorful. Refreshing, but I woudn’t want to drink it often. riversideAK (2745), Shoreline, Washington, USA
