Dec 4, 2006 Bought for my wife who loves the Peche. The aroma is of sour apple jolly ranchers and McIntosh with a slight hint of malt. It is a little thin in body and the flavors do not blend well. It is sweet and tart (a plus) but just doesn’t finish well. It was ok but the least favorite of their flavors for me so far.

Dec 3, 2006 bottle at the Fort Wayne tasting - Pours hazy gold with a thin head. The aroma has lots of sour apples. The flavor is rather like a light cider, very sweet and tart. I definitely enjoyed it despite the similarity to juice or cider.

Dec 1, 2006 Murky, aroma of sour apple. Flavor alike. Bit of vanilla. Even more of a fruit juice than their Kriek and Cassis. Not that I’m complaining. Very refreshing.

Nov 28, 2006 Cloudy gold color, a bit like apple cider but lighter and clearer. Aroma is like cider with some vanilla and cinnamon, taste follows aroma. Finish is a bit odd. Taste is not as sour as a lambic should be. Still, an interesting brew.

Hazy honey coloured, small white head, green apple bubblegum (Wrigley’s Hubba Bubba) nose. The taste is similar to nose (apple again) with notes of yeast, cinnamon and vanillin. Mild sourness in the finish.

Nov 10, 2006 Botlle shared with ozujsko at the Hopdevil in Zagreb
Poured a misty ochre-yellow colour with a small white head that went away soon. The nose is all green apple bubblegum. Nice in a way. The taste is intensive green apple candy, with just a touch of tartnes signifying that this might be a lambic. Quite nice in a way, and very close to that 2.5% cider I’ve had. You could pass this off to anyone as apple juice.

Nov 8, 2006 I’m all over the place on these Lindemann fruit beers, some I kinda dig, some taste so phoney sweet. Maybe it’s the mood when I have each one (cuz it certainly isn’t a personal insistence on making a lambic as tart and sour as possible = excellent). But, this one came off all apples, sweet apple juice, really juice-like. Beer was hard to pick up under it all, only slight funky remnants in the base beer. Even rating this as a fruit beer doesn’t leave a good result. At least it wasn’t a green beer like the bottle (oh, a very nice head, great retention, and great lacing, the highlight of the beer, along with the really green bottle).
