Large fruity aroma, clearly lots of currant but also oak. Tingly mouthfeel. It stats out sweet and ends with a sour note. EHSRanders (1120), Randers C, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2009 Appearance of dark grape soda. Aroma is sweet, fruity, currents, and a hint of tartness. Flavor is sweet and smooth, not sour enough for me. Very berry, raspberry and currents. Beardface (1022), Eugene, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 5, 2009 12 oz bottle Bier Stein. Poured so dark a red that it was nearly purple with a thin pink head. Aroma is vinous, currants and other fruit. Flavor was currants, grape, other vinous notes and some sweet sugar. Not horrible for a Lindeman’s product, but the small sample I had was more than enough. Too sweet for my palate! Eructoblaster (1497), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Strong fruity aroma with hoppy and malty hints. Sharp, rich fruity taste that ends with a long, robust sweet/sour finish. Excellent fruit lambic. MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Bottle 370 ml 3.5%. Age roughly 1 year piror to tasting. Poured deep dark ruby with an averaged sized, loose, rocky, purple head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of Ribena (blackcurrant concentrate) with great forest floor notes, plum juice, port wine jelly and light yeasty/barnyard notes. Flavor was of acidic fruit with sour red grape skins, tart blackberries, blackcurrant juice, wild berry yogurt, port wine jelly and light musty notes. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation, a dry tart mouthfeel, lightly syrupy texture and a good length finish. Extremely complex yet refreshing. HughConway (367), Washington, USA
