The Cherry flavoring is alright but the other berry fruits taste a tad artificial. A nice hint of acidic apples. It’s a complimentary beer with food. I’d suggest something spicy to get the full robustness out of this beer. Miksu (2220), Jyväskylä, Finland

Sweet, fruity, cidery and refreshing aroma with strong blackcurrant notes. Sweet flavor with lots of blackcurrant, some acidity and some leathery wild yeast character. Sugary and juicy finish. Too sweet but still quite tasty and refreshing. beerbill (1953), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours a deep reddish purple with a large, light purple head. The aroma is loaded with currants and reminds me of early summer. Berries are also the dominant flavor. There is plenty of sweetness in this beer and at the same time a distinct tart flavor as well. Syrupy, cloying mouthfeel, which I think matches the character of this beer quite well. This is my first lambic, and I enjoyed it very much! Arayaga2 (968), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Beautiful red with big pink head. Aroma is unmistakably berry with just a whiff of sour. Whoo! This stuff is extremely sweet, perhaps even cloyingly so, but the berry component is solid. I am, however going to have to deduct points for the sickly sweet *aftertaste*, and the undeniable feeling that my teeth are rotting from contact with this beverage. Maria (6225), Thisted, Denmark
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Jan 2, 2007 This currant colored beer has a nice, purple head and an intense black currant aroma, the kind you only find in fresh and sun ripe berries that you pick directly from the bush. The flavour is wonderful and I feel like I’m standing in the sun, picking and eating berries. Lindeman rules when it comes to fruit lambics!! bluevegie (2197), Perth, Australia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2007 Good sized pink head on a deep purple body. Taste is lovely notes of blackcurrant, sweet but not overly so, aroma is soft, blackcurrant and a bit musty. bobaidan (362), Farmington, Connecticut, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Dec 29, 2006 Pours like grape soda with a smallish purple head. Aroma is very similar to a red wine mixed with currant. Flavor is sweet, tart and very fruity. I don’t think I could drink more than one glass in a session, but that one glass is absolutely delicious. reakt (937), Greater London, England

Deep purple with a light mauve head. That typical lambic aroma with notes of black currant; reminds me of red wine. Sweet and sour at the same time. Syrupy palate gives it a full mouth feel. Full of berry goodness. If you like black currant you’ll enjoy this.
