Pours dark hazy purple with a medium long lasting dense reddish head.
Aroma is blackcurrants, with weak notes of grape.
Flavour is like picking fresh, not completely ripe blackcurrants and eat a handful.
It has a long slightly sour blackcurrant aftertaste. rudolf (1783), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 12, 2009 Deep, dark rich purple color. Flavor is like sweet grape juice, with a little sourness on the finish. Granted, I wouldn’t want this often, but it’s really not bad, albeit a little too sweet. Interesting, nonetheless. Fresh raspberry, pure-cane sugar, and tart red wine aroma. Flavor of grape Jolly Ranchers; sour Welch’s with a surprisingly sweet finish and very little funk. Perhaps an "entry-level" lambic.
