Pours dark hazy purple with a medium long lasting dense reddish head.
Aroma is blackcurrants, with weak notes of grape.
Flavour is like picking fresh, not completely ripe blackcurrants and eat a handful.
It has a long slightly sour blackcurrant aftertaste.

Mar 19, 2009 Purple, thin purple head. Nose is concord grape, butter, some sort of upsetting sweetness, jam. Flavor is grapes, slight tartness, meaty malt, really fruity. grape soda finish. Meh. If I made a soda this sweet I’d be upset.

Mar 12, 2009 Deep, dark rich purple color. Flavor is like sweet grape juice, with a little sourness on the finish. Granted, I wouldn’t want this often, but it’s really not bad, albeit a little too sweet. Interesting, nonetheless.

Mar 5, 2009 A purple lambic with a thin pinkinsh white head. A pleasant epsom salt aroma with berries. In mouth, a very sweet lambic with light lemon notes and horseblanket. Medium bodied. A bit too sweet. Tasted late May 2007. Bieropholie import.

Feb 26, 2009 Maroon/Violet in color with a cotton-candy head. Fresh raspberry, pure-cane sugar, and tart red wine aroma. Flavor of grape Jolly Ranchers; sour Welch’s with a surprisingly sweet finish and very little funk. Perhaps an "entry-level" lambic.
