Hazy red color, dense lasting pink head. Sweet, sgary, acidic, bleuberry, red currant scent. Sweet, sugary, black currant lemonade, a bit acidic taste. Metallic aftertaste, also some harsh grape peel. Medium a bit spritzy mouthfeel, rather low bitterness.

375 mL bottle purchased from Frugal MacDoogal’s in Nashville. Poured a deep red color with a one finger pink head. The aroma was faint, not much fruit, but raspberries and currant were present. The flavor was very candy like. Way too sweet.

Apperance: Beet red with 1/4 inch of pink fluffy head. Aroma: Raspberry cream cheese and funk. Taste: Raspberry cream cheese, yeast, sugary sweetness and a small amount of tartness. Overall: This blows Lindeman’s Framboise away. Fruity, sugary, funky, tart and highly enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours dark red with pink bubbly head. Aroma: sweet, fruity. Flavor: nice sour aftertaste to compliment the slight sweetness of the beer.

Very much like sparkling grape juice. Not much like most beers. In the style of lambic it seems to be too sweet and the look is not appealing.

This is about as good as it gets in the super sweet lambic category. The Aroma seems all right, not too much fruitiness, not a lot of sweetness, plenty of funk and barnyard type aromas. This looks all right as well with a deep purple color and a small but lasting head leaving good lace. The flavor tends to trick the palate, immedetley there is an enjoyable sour funkiness, then when you are about to enjoy it HERE COMES THE FRUIT SNACKS. The fruitiness tastes like candy and this doesn’t even taste much like currant, it mostly tastes like a sugary mess. This is the glorified version of berry weiss!

35.5 cl bottle. Mmmm, currants! A fruit little used here in the States. I rather like this one. Opens with a nice, lightly sweet currant smell. Pours dark brownish red, with a thin, slightly clotty pinkish foam. Nice taste of currant jelly, followed by those notes of oak or cork, a growing sense of tartness. Also catch some barnyard funk. This one is not too complex, but there is a fine balance. I’m really getting to like this style, and the Lindemans brews have been a nice gateway for me.

Bottle courtesy of a sibling for Christmas. Aroma of yeast, black currents and a hint of lemon. Flavor was a bit sweet with a slight hint of sour. Dark currant, generic berry and some sugariness.
