Light copper in colour, small white head and nice apple and honey aroma. Good balans between sweet and sour, very low in alc. a tasteful sweetend gueze with a holliday character.

Bottle. The color was light brown, cloudy. The foam disappeared quickly. Initially I thought about the swedish soda called Pommac when I sniffed at the liquid. Fruit, sugar and yeast were otherwise found in the aroma. The taste was very sweet. A certain sourness was there to balance the sweetness, but on the whole it was a little too sweet. One glass was enough, however the beer was not undrinkable. In addition to sweetness and sugar, I felt some malt, fruit and yeast in the taste. Very highly carbonated. Sweet but still ok.

Pours deep amber with a medium-sized head showing great persistence and leaving some lacing. Nice tangy, funky aroma with some goaty notes, light fruit (pears, peaches) and some acidic citrus. A hint of cheesy aroma, but faint enough so as to not detract too much from the overall experience. Very sweet taste, lots of sugary confectionery. Some goaty notes, very mild acidic character, and finishes with a just noticeable bitterness. The sweetness is a little too intense for me. Light body and carbonation. For a beer this sweet the carbonation really needs to be higher.

Bottle with big thanks to MrBunn for making sure I got a hold of this style. Pours an odd little tannish yellow, with very minimal head. Aroma is of sour, fruity funk, and that’s from a small distance! Sour green apples, lemon peel, and cherries all assault my tongue on the first taste. Very sweet to balance the sour. Carbonation is middling, and mouthfeel is a bit on the weak side. Wouldn’t drink a lot of this, but it’s a nice change-up, and I appreciate the chance to try it. Thanks Bunn!

Bottle. Pour is a deep mahogany with minimal head. Aromas are quite sweet with some sourness. Flavours are very sweet with lots of candi sugar. Balanced somewhat by some labic sourness. Mouthfeel is spot on and overall whilst very sweet still a great beer.

Thanks to rustychiles for the share on this one. Popped the cap with no apparent carbonation. Poured vigorously to generate some minimal bubbling; pours a turbid brown/red with a thin white film, no real head. Aroma has some complex sourness in the background, but it is overshadowed by the back-sweetening. Same goes for the taste. You can tell there was an interesting beer back behind there, but it is extremely over-sweetened on top of that. Pretty much what I expected (except actually a little carbonated) - lackluster, but interesting style to try.
