Aroma is sweet syrupy cherry as well as touch of barnyard funkiness. Light golden color, thick creamy white head. Light earthy and dusty aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet, honeyish and quite earthy with a bit of fruitiness as well. Tartness appears underneath the obvious sweetness. Long Lingering earthy finish.

Bottled. A bit of a disappointment, because it’s sweet. Mushed, brown apple aroma (!). A bit bitter. Colour shifting from orage to yellow, big white head. Taste sweet apple juice.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours light purple with a white head and a rich fruity smell. Flavor is sweet, a bit too sweet but the finish makes up for it. The finish is rich, with sweet, sour and spicey notes. Very good.

Bottle shared by iowaherkeye. My first Faro. Thanks Joey. Poured a hazy orange color with a slight purple tint. The aroma was fruity with plum, cherry, and spiced pear notes. There was also an earthy, almost wood-like accent. Very sweet, like the other Lindeman’s offerings I’ve tried. The flavor, as foreshadowed by the aroma, was also fruit dominated. I tasted mostly cherry and apple. There was also a subdued, but distinct paper-like note that detracted a bit.

Pours amber with some fizzy bubbles. Smells moderately funky and lambicy with lots of sweet touches. Tastes of sugar with some underlying funk and touches of sourness. Mouthfeel doesn’t yield much outside of sugar and some tingly sourness. A lot better than the Chapeau version.

27/10 0.25 l bottle at Hopdevil. Poured deep reddish brown body with small brownish head. Aroma of vinegar, really sour, more than other lambics I’ve tried. Apple, some caramel, too though. Flavor quite light, sour, then it comes to the caramel sweetness which is specially felt in the finish. Not so much carbonation, quite oily texture. Good beer, I’m very surprised with the style, this is the best lambic I had.

Draft at Poechenellekelder, Brussels: Muddy orange with a creamy head. Sweet fruity (peach mainly) & vinous maturted taste. Smooth & soft & very sweet. Low carbonation.
