Violent pour to get some head... which disappears in a hurry. Dark red, wood colour.
The aroma is salty, bitter-sour wood with hints of lemon. Quite dry.
Bitter-sweet with the sweetness dominating. The sweetness dies in the palate revealing an orangy, bitter-salty shipyard woodiness.
A delicious beer for hot, thirsty days. jalichio999 (502), Brazil

Pours amber to light brown with no lasting head, a very small crispy head was there when poured. Clear lambic aroma with a distinct cane sugar element layed on top. Very sweet flavour with a slight sour twist towards the end. Nice style of beer a good supplement to the acidic/sour lambics. Note to self: I need to have some of these in stock for guests that don’t get the beauty in the dry and sour lambics :) Fin (3421), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Has a soft sweet nose that whilst lambic is much gentler. Amber in colour with a small white head. The taste is really very good and a fine gentle introduction into this style of beer for those who wish to dive into Lambics. I liked this and whilst it is a bit too sweet it is still immensely enjoyable, and the sourness still offers enough of a diversion to keep one interested until the end. faroeviking (6082), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice clear golden amber colour with a small but well lasting creamy beige head. Good sticky and creamy lacing. The aroma has sour vinegar with some sweetness and good tostiness. The flavour has a toasty sweetness along with a pleasant refreshing sourness, good fruitiness and a nice sherry touch in the sour and sweet finish. Magicdave6 (5513), London, Greater London, England
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 24, 2007 Blackfriers. Aroma is sweet vinigar, a sweet and sourness comes across, hints of wood and buckets of dark tart fruit, however way to sweet. Taste is a similar fruity beast, hints of port, woodness in the finisg and age, infact this tastes like the kulminator, like the smell of the kulminator when your having a old loteling brune or something, problem is its too dam sweet. This is an excellent beer its got more hints of a flemish sour ale than a lambic, but if it was half the sweetness this would infact be rated over a 4 for me.
