(Bottle, best before 23/03/08) Pours a clear golden body with a moderate beige head. Aroma of candi sugar and tartness. Flavor is sweet with a subtle sourness. Carbonated mouthfeel with a bit of a sticky finish.

This was my first faro, years ago. Bottle. 37,5 Deep golden colour with a thin off-white foam. Sweet, honey, almost orange peel like aroma. Very sweet, light sourness, lightly winy and sherry flavour.

i had this one almost a week ago, but am now getting to it from memory since i did not write down notes. what i remember is that it was really nice tasting, with a sweet fruity taste, even my mother enjoyed it and asked me if it was really beer.

Hazy golden with a frothy head. A fine lambic aroma, sour and earthy, however the taste was cloyingly sweet, and though there were hints of some background tartness, the sugar dominated.

my first thought on this was the awful smell. Luckily it didn’t taste how it smelled, it was actually pretty good. A little sour but refreshing. Wouldn’t mind drinking more if they were easier to get.

Color is a brown/amber with no real head to speak of. Aroma is cherry, caramel, crystal malts, barnyard. Very sweet taste like unripe fruit dipped in sugar with dried fruit, and cherry pie filling. Very interesting beer that combines sweetness and tartness.

Style 70/70 Thanks to numenor! Nose was tart, barnyard aroma; appearence was rusty brown with a mere ring of bubbles along the glass sides; Flavor was tart yet sweet with an tiny apple ester, an interesting contrast of flavors, definately not what I expected from the aroma.
