Dark amber, brown coloured with a large off-white head, and much carbonation. Sour sweet malty aroma with some slight yeasty touches. Nice balanced sweet-sour body.Finish is sweet, very little sour and a little sticky. Average.

750 ml bottle. Thick white head. Light coppery colour. Clear, but with just a little hint of stuff floating around in the beer. Musty raspberry aromas. A little barnyardy notes. Sweetness at first that moves into a more fruity flavour. Notes of candy sugar.

Thanks are due to Numenor for his gracious carting of this all the way across the Atlantic. He has really contributed to my nabbing of styles. Ruddy brown colour, clear with an off-white head. Tart aroma. Delicious, sweet flavour with salty afternotes.

Alas, my last style. Thanks to Numenor for picking this up in England. Cloudy reddish color with a thin creamy off-white head. Aroma of sour and some sweet fruit. Very sweet fruity flavor, with some sour kick in the end.

Yay... my final style, picked this up at the Beer Ritz in York, England. Nice golden-brown body with a very thin white head. Great sourdough-bread aroma, nice and tart. A very tart and sweet flavor, ending with almost a pure caramel-sugar tang, maybe some sour apple showing up as well. Basically a normal gueuze with more sugar than normal.

Bottle at home alone. Not sad or pathetic, just home alone !! Amber color, a nonlasting white head. Aroma: Honey, a little gooseberry, but mostly sweet. Taste: Very sweet, dry, not very sour. Reminds me of eating a bag of sour candy.
