Quality package, embossed corked bottle. Pop smells funky. Hypnotic pour. Full lambic experiemce, tart and farmy with candy sweetness. Perfect carbonation. Some very mild medicine in the background. Supreme enjoyment if you have a sweet tooth. An excellent example of a flemish brew. Does anybody know why they make any other style? Finish? What finsh, blast; its all gone. Need more.

Bottle. Poured amber with a thin white head. Aroma is malty, with caramel, nut, and wood notes. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Flavor is very sweet and slightly sour. Notes of fruit, wood and caramel. Loads of residual sugar. Sweet, sticky finish.

Smells like low tide and wet clay. Raw sugar. Shimmering bronze, small white head. Strongly sour for just the instant to realize the flavor and then it becomes an unapologetic onslaught of refined sugar. Tastes as if they completely saturated the solution. All sweet. Are all faros like this?

Bottle: The aroma smells like an old musty tent that been rolled up sitting in storage too long and some sweet yeastiness. It pours a transparent copper with a small soapy white head. The flavor is all sugary apple. Too sweet for me. Medium bodied with minimal carbonation.

Bottled, BB 7/7/2008. Poured medium reddish-orange with a loose cap of pinkish-white head.. some sediment suspended in there. The aroma was quite sweet with wet blanket and oaky overtones.. touches of lemon zest and green apple emerge with warmth. The flavor had a bit of Sweet Tart kick on the fruity opening with oak spicing it up a little.. green apple provided a dominant character for the rest of the drink.. not a whole lot of lambic-y funkage or assertiveness to note. Tart at first on the palate, then hugely sweet the rest of the way.. quite a bit like candy.. drank easy enough, but it seemed dumbed-down.

250ml bottle. Pours brown red with just a hint of head. Smells of meat (!), vegitabels and some tartness. Fruity sweetness and some tartness.

Bottle. This one tastes like a sweet, sweet fruit beer without fruit. Big dissapointment!

Very hazy orange-brown pour with a thin white head. Acidic aroma with apple juice notes. Very very sweet syrupy candy flavor. Some tart apples. Bitter with a bit of alcohol on the finish. Very enjoyable. Would make a great desert drink.
