Oct 27, 2007 Tasted 2007-10-27. 25cl. Pours deep, dark red - very dark - with light red head. Sweet aroma of raspberries. There seems to be a fine line between great and sickening, when it comes to fruit lambics. This one is just on the right side IMO. There’s not much sourness to the aroma, sadly. Flavour of raspberries and sourness. Very accessable and balanced flavour. Could be a good intro to fruit lambics, I think.

Oct 24, 2007 Pours red with a pink head. Aroma is strong raspberry, and taste is very much like raspberry fruit juice, especially considering the very small alcohol content. Not overly horrible, but I wanted a beer.

Oct 24, 2007 Wonderful taste and aroma of raspberries. Didn’t taste much like a beer, but still was a standout. Mixes very well with other types of beer.

smell is raspberry jam that grandma makes.
taste is raspberry and just a hint of hops.
good overall, i like this one more than the cherry lambic.

Oct 23, 2007 Lindemans is too juicy. I hope for some more malt in a lambic, but you get what you get. Tart rasberries and some sweetness. Not bad overall.

Oct 21, 2007 Sampled at GDBTF. Not as overwhelmingly sweet as the pomme. Rather attractive rose color with bubbly head. Raspberries definitely on the nose, but the palate is a little more complex, very kriek like, some sour oaky character, even got a little hop character, wooden and strawlike. not bad.

Oct 14, 2007 Poured into flute from bottle. Very inviting raspberry aroma. Beautiful light red coloring and wide frothy head. Flavor is really well balanced and keeps the sweetness in check. Although naturally a superb pairing with chocolate, it’s also a fruit lambic drinkable by itself. Not a multi-glass beer, but for the right occasion it is extremely nice - pretty hard not to have fun with this drink.
