Great rasberry nose and pallate. i am a sucker for rasberries, and while this isnt a classic beer taste, the sour finish is crisp and clean. Poobah (103), New Orleans, Louisiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 26, 2009 Profound raspberry and sugar aroma. Plum and pink color with thin head and decent lacing. Malty intro with some carbonation evident in the mouth. Initial raspberry flavor is subtle and smooth on the tongue but soon becomes bittersweet in the aftertaste. Made a raspberry shortcake once with this beer and raspberries and it was pretty good! Narnad (721), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA

Pours a dark purple color with a very purple, frothy head that dies down quickly. Aroma is almost all raspberry with some light sour and barnyard notes. Flavor starts off slightly sour, very strong of raspberry notes, sweet light farm ending with an ending tartness to round out the tasting. Overall a decent brew but I wish there was a bit more of a funk flavor to help tone down or accent the strong sweetness. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA

Sweeter raspberry, a little sickenly sweet. Flavor is a sweet mess, like a jolly rancher. Medium to light body with weird carbonation. Meh.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Pours a cranberry juice shade of red (but thicker) with minimal pink head. Aroma is pureed raspberries. Not very subtle at all. Flavor is intense raspberry smoothie. Tart, tart, tart. With how intense it presented, I was nervously anticipating a syrupy finish, but thankfully that didn’t arrive. No hint of alcohol whatsoever. I feel like I had a smoothie, not a beer. clear red, small red head.
aroma of fresh raspberries, slight sour.
flavor is fruity, ripe raspberries, slight sourness.
i’d like the raspberry flavor a little more fresh, and less raspberry-jam like, and then i’d like to take away a little bitterness, and add more sourness. still a decent sour, that i might buy again. faroeviking (6125), BjórtjóðveldiðBjórheimBjórsins, Faroe Islands

Lovely sweet fruity raspberry aroma. Sweet very pleasant raspberry fruity tart flavour. Long lasting fruity bit tart raspberry finish. Yum. Thanks for sharing Pinball! thooper41 (390), Oregon, USA
