Jun 1, 2009 Deep red purple color, lots of carbonation. The aroma is raspberries, plain and simple. The flavor is like carbonated raspberry juice. Cloyingly sweet, sticky mouthfeel. Not really refreshing, or interesting.

May 25, 2009 Clear magenta with a light rose head featuring plenty of rising bubbles. Beautiful to look at, beautiful to smell. Sour, red fruits, sugar all in the aroma. Tastes the same--primarily of tart raspberries. This beer is meant to be a sweet/sour tasting of raspberries and it does it superbly.

May 24, 2009 bottle. Pours a lovely, dark red with a pink-magenta head which dissipated quickly. Nose is of raspberry juice. Taste is like drinking raspberry jam. Mouthfeel is cloyingly sweet and sticky.

May 23, 2009 Dark red pour with a red-tinged head. Raspberry aroma hits you during the pour. Notes of sourness comes up at you also. You taste the sourness, then the sweetness. The sweetness lingers awhile, then leaves you a nice creamy mouthfeel. Having only a few fruit beers, this is the best so far. Leaves a nice lacing on the glass.

May 19, 2009 Dark pink-red pour. Strong raspberry and fruit aroma. Very sweet flavor, more like a juice than a beer. The raspberries dominate any malt or yeast flavors.

May 16, 2009 Lively magenta body with a pink, foamy head. Aroma is strong raspberry with a slightly salty, sour raspberry taste. Strongly suggest mixing it with Guinness or something else smooth and creamy (at least once). Wish it had a higher ABV.

May 15, 2009 Location: They seem to sell it at every bottle shop near me, but I’ve never actually purchased it, just drank it when others did.
Overall Impression:
I like my beer to taste like beer, call me crazy. If you call this your favorite beer, I’m guessing you’ve tried every variety of Smirnoff Ice as well...not bad, but not beer.
This stuff is to beer what a Manischewitz is to wine...it’s super sweet and fruity half-sister...
