harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Aug 8, 2006 Interesting, and one of the better that I have tried from this style, but not being a fan to begin with it is hard for me to give this a true on true rating. Sour musty fruit aromas, with a bit of musky sweatiness and horse saddle. Some strong lemon acidity, with some funky acidity and vinous vinegar notes. Decent, but not something I could drink all by myself again.
travita (640), Lewisville, Texas, USA Jul 7, 2008 Golden orange color with a light hazy white head. Hazy look as well. Smell is tart, fruity, good funky sourness in the aroma. Taste is less sour, missing some complexity. Still nice and dry and a good beer. aubreya (636), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA Jul 6, 2008 There was some small floating sediment. The color was light orange. The head was thin, fizzy, and white. The aroma was sour, light lemon, citris, and muscadines. The palate was medium-bodied and lightly carbonated. The finish was tart. azlondon (457), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Cap&Cork. Dark yellow. Lots and lots of thick head. Cloudy. Some sediments.

As you can probably tell, I am not a big fan of Gueuze/Lambic... BritAlesRule (54), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA Jun 21, 2008 Updated: Jun 24, 2008Looks like a glass of cider, no head. Smells of a drainpipe with sour candy and a night in the city, no kidding. Or alternatively, the ocean, if it could take on a clean sour appley smell. I get an impression of city streets and their dark underlying scents, but also of an orchard with green apples rotting about the ground. Very spritzy mouthfeel, all kindsa tart goodness going on if you’re into this thing. Seem to be left with just a ring of tart candy and cider vinegar on the back of the tongue. Can’t imagine a better palate. Terrific. gam (451), brisbane, Australia Jun 16, 2008 Good strong head on orange coloured ale good carbonation.Aroma cider ,apples, vinegar, orange.Flavour sour with a malt tone, nice alcohol taste, apples, orange, touch of banana and good flavour of lemon as well.Intense flavours but a good drop, doesn,t takelong to get to like these ales. The cider, vinegar are the main, but the other flavours come in perfectly, note of marmalade.Finish, mellow full flavoured, very plesant.
