The aroma is funky and yeasty in a wild way but not overly so. It’s mostly sour and malty. The appearance hazy gold with a good head. The flavor is like the aroma with a sour aftertaste. The palate is thin but smooth. Overall it’s decent for the style.

Bottle, thanks to Todd for sharing. Peachy gold pour; hazy. Wish we could get this around here; seems like a solid beer and a great value. Sour, tart aromas and earthy notes. Fruits all around: lemon, unripe pear, grapefruit and lemon zest. Some nice barnyard funk. Very easy drinking. Would keep this in stock if I could easily get it.

(37.5cl bottle, ca. vintage 2000) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a medium-sized cream-coloured foamy head. Moderately acidic, dusty citrus-fruity aroma with notes of lime and hops, accompanied by a woody and barnyardy accents. Sour and bitter-tart flavour, light to medium bodied, with a medium carbonation. Acidic fruity taste with primary notes of grapefruit, lime; dry and sourish tart and slightly bitter finish with woody notes and a moderate length. A classical, not too offensive Gueuze (24.08.08).

Bottle, thanks to WeeHeavySD for sharing. Pours a cloudy peachy-orange with a thin, white head that lingers. Sour aroma, of fruit and a little yeasty. Sour taste starts strong then fades into a sweeter fruitiness. Lingering vinegar taste. Tasty.

Bottle from Belmont Station in Portland, OR--Poured a bright yellow-orange hue similar to the color of the bottle and neck wrapper. very nice looking hue with a thin filmy white wispy head. Tart, sweet, lactic sour nose. Effervescent, dry and sour on tongue. Flavor of sweet fruits overrun by wood and grass tart sour. SOUR! Wonderful Lambic! Great with sharp cheese. I loved it!
