Aroma is outstanding, sour and cidery with some yeasty, earthy tones, and perhaps some of the fruitiness of a tripel style ale. Flavor is striking, cidery and vinegar sourness, with bright carbonation. A bit overwhelming at first but with small sips, the beer can be appreciated, especially the pleasant long cidery aftertaste. The mouthfeel is well balanced between carbonation and creaminess. Not a daily drink, but well worth a try. travita (1970), Frisco, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Golden orange color with a light hazy white head. Hazy look as well. Smell is tart, fruity, good funky sourness in the aroma. Taste is less sour, missing some complexity. Still nice and dry and a good beer. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

Smells of a drainpipe with sour candy and a night in the city, no kidding. Or alternatively, the ocean, if it could take on a clean sour appley smell. I get an impression of city streets and their dark underlying scents, but also of an orchard with green apples rotting about the ground. Very spritzy mouthfeel, all kindsa tart goodness going on if you’re into this thing. Seem to be left with just a ring of tart candy and cider vinegar on the back of the tongue. Can’t imagine a better palate. Terrific. gam (1123), brisbane, Australia

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2008 Urine-like in colour (ie the colour simialr to when you know you just haven’t been drinking enough water!). Aromas are very sour and very gueze, but there is definately a sweeter edge to the fruit. Less intense to taste and this creates a broad mouthful, which is not usual for the genre. Almost felt like this beer this edge. Very quaffable. slimchill (783), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 13, 2008 Bottle. Nose is tart with mild musk, peach and orange notes. Pours with a huge frothy head atop a cloudy bright yellow-orange with active carbonation. Flavor is refreshingly sour, well balanced with the same fruits noted in the aroma. Very easy-drinking clean palate.
