Aroma is grapefruit (though only slightly sour), must, leather, and significant sulfur with warmth. Flavor is more tart and a little sour with strong citrus notes, yeast, and metallic hints, lots of leather, and a little sulfur as well. Middle of the road for a lambic palate: not overly dry, some nice juice. Definitely not all class for a lambic, it’s still very high quality. afireinside96 (839), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a lovely, hazy honey-amber color with a foamy white head. It smells very much like apple juice or cider, tart with a bit of hidden sweetness. Apples dominate the flavor but there are lemon and dough notes as well. Quite tart right up until the super clean dry finish. This is the first time I have ever had Gueze but I can definitely see myself trying more of these. KawaBomber (213), New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 14, 2008 Bottle: Cloudy peach golden w/ a nice off-white head. Aroma has a vinegar-like quality & a little underlying sweet. Flavor is mega sour/tart, but in a good way. There is some sweet up front, but sour rules the show & it’s good. thewolf (5808), Kolding, Denmark

Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head, fizzes away rather quickly. Aroma is lightly tart, great apple and barnyard. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is pleasantly tart, great vanilla notes, yeast, milky bacteria. Very dry finish. Beerlando (2351), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2008 The body is a lightly hazy golden-orange color. A large, spongy, pure white head settles slowly to a thin film, leaving thick vertical columns of lacing on the glass. Aromas are expectedly quite tart, showing notes of sour lemon, light vinegar, and a touch of musty apples and grapes, all atop a bed of day-old French bread. Flavors are similar, with a few unexpected twists. The tart lemon is there in bunches, as is the dry bread, but there’s also a note of old cheese lurking within the yeasty must. The finish is ultra-tart, with a moderate duration. Medium-bodied, with lively carbonation, the brew goes down easy and finishes bone dry, each sip begging for the next. Awesome brew. This shows what Lindemans is capable of when they focus their efforts on the true beer lover, and not the mass market. Falls short of the masters, like Cantillon and Drie Fonteinen, but still damn good nonetheless. Funknmilla (603), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 7, 2008 355mL Bottle. A front of orchard blossom approaches. Cotton and oak gracefully bless the nose. Soft seltzer perfume of lavender. Nice aroma. Pours a vibrant gold with a nip of haze and fringe of straw. A well-sustaining off-white heads soaps the glass and lingers above, strongly. A very harmonious blend over a rich texture. Very soft and smooth. Rather mildly flavored, I think but delicate. A bit of acetone lights up the nostrils between pear juice and rice vinegar. Some light grassiness breezes up the back swing of this beer. Sharp, mid-palate. Lemon juice and bit of curry hold strong, before the faintest waft of dust blow them out. A bite of almond pastries finishes the beer. All around pretty nice. Good flavors, good balance, good texture, but perhaps a little quiet and with a few too many acetone/vinegar notes. Enjoyable on a spring afternoon to say the least. daniele (1738), Italy
