Golden orange pour a quarter inch thick white bubbly head that dissipates quickly. Apricot and barnyard funk on the nose. Nice tartness with a oddly dry finish. Some bitter apple with burnt orange peel with stale bread.

Bottle at Akkurat, if I recall correctly. Mussles and lambic FTW :) Perfumy and tart aroma. Fairly full flavour, tart and even fruity.

Thanks turdferguson for sharing. Pours a golden hazy brew with a nice carbonation. The aroma is a bit sweet, dry tart, sour grapes, a little vinous. The flavor was very sour and tart, lemongrass, grapes, vinous, nice flavor. The palate is sour and biting with a nice carbonation.

Pours a hazy golden orange with medium creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma of floral notes, horse blanket, some cittrus notes and a general funkiness. Flavors of the same. Nice and dry. Well done Gueuze!

Clear gold with a tiny, fizzy white head. Aroma of yeast and sour malt, very musty. Sour without being overly so, the flavor is tart and tangy, almost lemony. Nicely carbonated mouthfeel. Very pleasant.

Relatively 12 oz within a couple of weeks of purchase.

Pours warm hazy gold with a short-lived fluffy white head. Very nice musty aroma, stone cellar walls, fermented apples in a ciderbarn basement. Quite mild on the vinegar aromas. The flavor more or less follows: this is not an aggressively acidic gueuze, but as expected it’s completely different from every other Lindemans syrup-added soda pop I’ve ever had. Instead, again lots of very nice musty notes, woody, gentle touches of lemon, gentle buttery notes, plenty sour though not sharply so. I like badnewbears’s description of this as having starfruit (and raspberry, though the latter is very subtle.) The mouthfeel is absolutely spot on, gently carbonated to give it some sparkle but not so aggressive as to really make it zing; the acids begin to tickle the sinuses with each sip, but don’t burn the way some of the more sour beers can.

I’m very impressed. It’s really good fresh, and I’m eager to try it with a bit of age.

Note from the Naked City sour tasting: does well even against Giradin black (though falling somewhat below that stellar mark), starchier than that super-clean beer.

Nice beery, tart aroma. Appearance is a shiny, slightly cloudy gold. Flavor is lemony tart, lactic, not sweet, very dry. Pretty good stuff.

amber body with large white, aerated head..nose of sour must, dark and light fruit (picking up starfruit and raspberry in particular)...very, very inviting..flavor is very sour as well, with lemon zest, citrus, and must..lingering mouthfeel...exceptional
