Pours a deep blond color with rocky white foam, great retention and lacing. Aroma is pungently sour, lots of citrus rind. Flavor is big, lots of sour, lots of oak. Was the first Gueuze I ever had (6? years ago) and still remains one of the better ones in my book. milewide (613), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 8, 2007 cheers to boboski. Apple skins on the nose, sweet and tart smelling, hints of berries and some citrus. Pours blonde with a thick white head, that does not last. wow, what a huge flavor, tart and sour, lacto and pedio, with a good brett dryness, sour apples, sour citrus like kalamencie or kumquats. There is a nice sweetness toward the end, and it finishes off dry and crisp. Great gueuze! rayg1 (438), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Pours out a golden color with a nice ring of white carbonation. Aroma is very nice and complex with a sour, funky, yeasty smell. Some white grapes almost winelike because the aroma is so dry and pungent. Wonderful brew to smell. Taste is crisp, clean, and straight to the point. The most powerful flavor is the sourness of the beer however the acidic and sour attributes of the beer are not completely dominant as there is more white grapes in the taste as well that add a touch of sweetness to round it all out. Carbonation is high and prickly and works well with the thin mouthfeel of the beer. Well done, Lindeman’s best one for sure. Gueuze is impressing me more and more. fonefan (11640), VestJylland, Denmark

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 19, 2007 A nice mouth puckerer from a brewer who knows Lambics. Aroma of must, funk and "muffled citrus" if that makes any sense. Pour was a beautiful dark gold with loads of tiny bubbles and a two finger off white head. Taste was sharp and biting. Strong acidity with lemon and wood coming out. The strongly sour finish leaves a lump in the back of your throat. Each mouthfull is a ride. Nice. jujubeast6000 (787), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 17, 2007 (bottle): Pours a cloudy yellow fizzy. White head, small bubbles. Kinda looks like champagne. Very sour aroma, like rotten something, but only the sour. Very sour taste, bubbly mouthfeel. Different feeling. Odd. Different taste if I drink it with my whole mouth versus just my throat.
