Tart and not your typical gueuze and although interesting I wouldn’t buy again. Page 284 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide and 335 out of 500 Classic Brews to go. The froth really clings and leaves a full, thick ring around the glass. Aroma of sour, underrippened fruit, cedar, and sea salt. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers complete w/ Champagne streamers. Flavors of citric acid, bitter peach pit, sea salt, cedar, oak, and grape stems. This is a very sour/trart brew that finshes dry w/ a moderate degree of margarita salt. Finish is bittered w/ strong peach pit. For some reason I keep coming back for another sip. It leaves my mouth watering despite the parching effect it has on my palate. Feels like it draws out all the water in my mouth like a preperation for a lingual mummification. Extremely sour but for some reason drinkable. jason (1624), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a medium gold with big sticky bubbles. little head. First taste is tart apple fuji or brayburn-like. A pleasant change for a daytime with meal beer in winter. This is probably pretty refreshing inssummer time too. harmfuldrunk (288), New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 22, 2007 i think of this as more of a deicate beer to drink with a nice meal not as one I use to party. although who wouldnt party without a beer that tastes like a sour champange without all the bubbles, although carbonated its not rediculas like me nice beer, but with the granny smith taste here I wouldnt wanna venture to there fruit lambic that shit would be to whack im sure. fine thin lining head and pretty sexy aroma. a note worthy drink for a beer baller
