Hazy pale yellow with a quite decent white head. Rubbery, sour-ish, horseblanket aroma with some notes of green apples. Sour, citric, refreshing flavour. Yeasty as well. Some notes of syrup. Grapefruit acidity in finish.

From 750. Hazy orange yellow pour with white head. Nose has the lambic sour, light fruits, crab apple, wild yeasts and something like celery. Flavor is more of the lambic sour and light fruits, with a tart finish. Carbonation is high.

750 with gputty. Unclear gold with a big, foamy white head. Nose - sourish, fruity, Granny Smith apples, some woody notes. Very drinkable, not as sour as many others. Apple and some mustiness in the flavor. Dry, clean, lightly tart finish. Excellent.

[Bottled RBESG 2006] Pale hazy golden colour. Good sourish nose, fruity, unripe apples and wood. Woddy, very dry, acidic flavour profile, reminiscent of red apples.

750 ml bottle: pouts a hazy orange color with a medium sized head. Tart sourness with a little green apple and lemon comes to the nose. Medium bodied and very drinkable as its sour and acidic but balanced with a light woodiness and fruit. Finishes dry and clean.

From the bottle into a Boon Lambic glass at just on cool. Tried this in a haunted little hotel in Brugges, Belgium (long story!)
Hazy orange gold in body, very, very finely carbonated pushing up a decent fluff of white to make it look more like beer than muddy champers. Tight tart and funky acidic fruit nose with a solid base of under-ripe grapefruit, limes, pine and oak-barrels. Tart, sour, leathery and hairy body that showcases some classic well-aged lambic must and funk blended with some fresh lemon peel and orange rind, mousy malt and rust and a late addition of soft, funked up cheese. Its finish is rough, ready and sour with some goat hair mingling fondly with that cheese and citrus, and a touch of oxidation that just expounds a damn good Lambic. I liked it. Nice level of funk and junk meets good fruit overtones. Light, refreshing and interesting. (37.5cL, de Bier Tempel, Brussels, Belgium)
