Hazy orange gold in body, very, very finely carbonated pushing up a decent fluff of white to make it look more like beer than muddy champers. Tight tart and funky acidic fruit nose with a solid base of under-ripe grapefruit, limes, pine and oak-barrels. Tart, sour, leathery and hairy body that showcases some classic well-aged lambic must and funk blended with some fresh lemon peel and orange rind, mousy malt and rust and a late addition of soft, funked up cheese. Its finish is rough, ready and sour with some goat hair mingling fondly with that cheese and citrus, and a touch of oxidation that just expounds a damn good Lambic. I liked it. Nice level of funk and junk meets good fruit overtones. Light, refreshing and interesting. (37.5cL, de Bier Tempel, Brussels, Belgium) rlgk (3377), Vårgårda, Sweden
