[Sampled with René....and CKlaus north of Gilleleje.] Haze yellowamber with fast head and good notes of complex citric and acid elements in a great combination. Vinegar, leather, horseblanket, barnyard, earthy, woody, all mixes together to an indeed great brew. WOW

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour, with a white head. Aroma is mainly dry lemon and oak with a touch of grape and dirt. Flavour is dry and sour lemon with notes of oak, a little grape and somewhat leather. Its quite mild but very drinkable even though it lags complexity.

Bottle. Crisp, dry smell. Clear deep golden color. Taste was, (whew!) sour. Slightly dry but sour. Maybe a slight citrus taste but sour. Did I mention it was sour.

12oz bottle. Pours a nice clear orange with a very small white head. Nose is tart and dry with some brett notes. Flavor is crisply sour, lemony, and that’s practically all there is to it. Pretty dry, as well. This is a pretty basic gueuze - not a lot of complexity here. Still, it’s one that I’ve always enjoyed, and a pretty accessible sour. Easy to find, too.

(bottle - corked & capped 12 oz) Hazy gold color with a thick and fizzy white head. Aroma is dry and tart with some very nice and funky notes as well. Flavor is very sour and tart at the beginning, followed up by some funky farmhouse and dry champagne notes. Very bubbly and with a surprisingly light aftertaste.

Bottle from Utobeer Market Stall. Pours a hazy orange with a white long lasting head. Great lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, funk, leather, barnyard. Quite a sour nose. Flavours of lemon, yeasty, some herbs, grapefruit. Good sour finish. Very nice lambic.

Pours a pale golden buttery color with a quickly dissapting white head. No lacing, just a nice white ring around the top of the beer. Smells really sour with a strong barnyard quality to it. Definitely a bit funky, Bret Funky. The barnyard quality seems to be the strongest quality coming through in the nose. Maybe a bit fruity/citrusy. Definitly sour coming through, a touch of citrus fruits seem to be accessible. There’s that wild side of the yeast coming through in the finish. Interesting and very tasty beer.
