| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 13, 2009 A: Pours a nice cider brown kind of color. The head rushes to the top in tiny bubbles but dies down nicely. There is little fizz after the pour and tons of floaters in the bottle.
S: There is a nice fruity aroma. Green apples with a hint of sugar. There is a definite underlying sweetness which is pretty nice. Not really your usual Gueuze aroma..way more sweet.
T: Starts off with the sweetness of concentrated apple juice. There is a little tart funk in the background, but this is not the flavor of a good gueuze.
M: Despite the lack of bubbles after the pour it is still a lively brew. Pretty crisp and clean.
D: It is nice for one bottle and I actually liked the sweet taste. It is more of a fruit tasting beer than a gueuze.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 7, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep amber with small dense white head. Aromas are quite subdued. A little sourness, perhaps some alcohol and oak. Flavours are initially quite sugary sweet followed by vinegary sourness and some green apple. The faintest hint of funk. Plenty of carbonation. Quite reminisent of champagne. Flavours are not overly complex for the style and the balance is slightly off. Definately not in the class of Cuvee Rene. Still not a nad neer though. jumpjet2k (169), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 18, 2009 355ml bottle. Pours a medium orange-pale with a bit of sediment. The small white had diminishes quickly. Nose is a little bit funky, but there’s a strong presence of sugary sweetness. Flavor... definitely sweet, but there’s a moderate presence of lambic tartness. I love me some Cuvee Rene, but this isn’t near it - like their fruited lambics, Lindemans added way too much sugar to this one. It’s not awful or undrinkable, but it’s not nearly as interesting as an unsweetened lambic. wkalle (116), Sweden

Cidery apples and sweetness in aroma. Elegantly sour with a tart slightly sweet finish. BMan1113VR (2943), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 8, 2009 335ml Bottle. Clear glowing orange body and a decent sized, just off-white head. Aroma of light skunk, wet wood, moss, spider webs, fruit (apples and cherries). Taste...oh no, not again. A back sweetened Gueuze, crap. Why would they go and take a perfectly good lambic and add sugar to it? Some light lemon lime soda notes, apple juice. Sugar. Blah. Thin, light bubbles. Sort of papery. No more sugar for you Lindemans, you abused your use of it! MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Oct 19, 2009 Bottle 375ml. Aged 18 months piror to tasting. Poured cloudy golden with a large, foamy, off-white head which was mostly lasting. Strong notes of funky wild yeast in the aroma with barnyard notes, forest floor notes, wet grain, lemon juice, lemon zest and vitamin C. Flavor was of acidic fruit with sour grain, wild yeast, moss, barnyard notes, petrified wood, tart green grape skins and cumquats. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, a dry/tart mouthfeel and a good length finish. austone (1039), Turku; Pori, Finland
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 19, 2009 25cl bottle. Dark, slightly hazy amber, small and a bit coarse pale head. Old apples on the nose, little orange, hints of funk and cellar, but still sweetened to death. Flavor is apple juice, sweeteners, very mild acidic notes and moldy cellar in the finish, along with a hint of wheat. It’s just apple juice for the most part. Almost medium bodied, slick palate. I was expecting even worse. shp555 (1691), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
