| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 13, 2007 Aside from Lindeman’s Cuvee Renee, they really make soda like lambic drinks and this, unfortunately, is no different. The aroma on it had some promise. Light sour/tartacidic notes started it off nicely but it began and ended on those notes. It was barely even there. Perhaps those who haven’t had "traditional" lambics might find this aroma intriguing, but I found it to be a let down. Appearance was a golden honey yellow, small champagne like bubbles with a minimal frothy head. Mouthfeel was missing that mouth stripping feel that I’ve come to love with top notch gueuze’s like Girardin and 3F. Little to no action on the palate left me wondering what the hell happened, but I remembered it was a Lindeman’s product. So what came next was no suprise...sweetness!! A sweet gueuze....what a f’n shame. And to top it off, it was a saccharine-like sweetness. Give me the dry as a bone, mouth puckering, nut-shot, punch in the mouth sourness instead of this mess. If you really want to try a good product from Lindemans, there’s really only one worth a damn and that’s the aforementioned Cuvee Renee. The rest of this stuff is just crap. cheapdark (2048), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 3, 2007 This bottled brew from a bottle shop in Indianapolis, IN poured a small sized head of foamy mostly lasting off white colored bubbles that left behind a transparent soft carbonated deep orange colored body and a good lacing. The aroma was frsdsh with typical notes of dry sour farmhouse smells. The palate was good for a gueuze with a nice carbonation on the tongue and tingly from start to finsh. Its flavor was slightly sweet not sour and dry as expected. All in all, in was pretty godd. Much better than most gueuzes I have had. jeremytoni (1123), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2007 12 oz bottle- poured light tan/brown, carbonic head dissolved after one minute. Aroma of sweetness, tender rotten fruit, and yeast. Hits the mouth with sweetness and sourness, finish very nonexistant and dry. I enjoyed it, and I’m not a big fan of the style, why didn’t the beerpagners? Guerde (710), Welcome, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 13, 2007 Pours gold with a white head. Somewhat off-putting aroma, strong on yeast, slightly funky. There wasn’t much to the taste, maybe a bit of lemon, but the finish was incredibly dry. rayg1 (445), Ft. Mill, South Carolina, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 13, 2007 This beer pours a deep reddish color into the tulip glass with a small white head. Aroma is a nice acidic tart smell. Smells very wild just like a good gueuze should. Taste is a wonderful blend of a light sweetness and acid. A light funk also proceeds with this one. I really like gueuze and think this style is misunderstood many times. Yes, this beer is tart and acidic but it is lightly sweet and complex at the same time. Good stuff!
