| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Pours a virtualy clear golden brown with a light tan head. Nose is an expected musty yeast with a sweet tone blanketing it. Flavor is sweeter than I expected with slight apple qualities as well. The sweet barely leans towards a tart edge...barely. Feel is decent. Nice carbonation. Drinkable, sure. I won’t be pouring it down the drain, but for gueuze, I’ll be going elsewhere in the future. Even with my limited experience on the style, I can tell that this one is not as "mature" or full in character as others are and can be. alaskanwarren (286), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2007 Pours like an IPA. Smells like honey, malt and sour. Flavor delivers with much of the same. All in all, I enjoy a more tart lambic, as this doesn’t seem super adventurous. heavy (835), Split, Croatia
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 8, 2007 0.25 l bottle. Pours nice orange/amber sparkling body with smaller brownish head. Aroma quite strong, sour and reminds to apple. Taste also sourish, vinegar and some sweetness also. High carbonation, fading soon to the minimal level, finish was firstly sour and bad, then get used to and becomes even nice... My first lambic so not used to...like champagne with some fruit juice. But very interesting... mbrandon2w (109), Worcester, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 7, 2007 strong, sweet, sour aroma. almost like vinegar mixed with fruit juice. taste is surprisingly sweet. strong tase of tart apples up front, then more of a sweet apple flavor in the back with some honey and raspberry in the finish. with less sweetness and a bit more of the traditional lambic funk, this would be excellent. the sweetness is a bit too much for me, though it’s still drinkable. f351c4v (408), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 3, 2007 Pours a golden color with a nice white head. Intense carbonation is evident in the flute. Sour apple aroma. Sweet, light body with the smallest hint of sourness during the dry finish. Nothing like the Cuvee Rene, rather bland for the style. bbbrew (183), Washington DC, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2007 From a 355mL Bottle. Pours a transparent color of apple cider with a quickly dissipating head of fizzy white foam. Aroma of apple juice, riesling grapes, and honey topped blue cheese. A touch of nutty gouda cheese rind as well. Medium light bodied, lightly carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet, but not overly sticky or heavy. A bit of crisp acidity greets the tongue first, but lacks any fizzy bite to give it that extra kick. Flavors are not quite as interesting, with some funky apple juice and riesling grapes dominating the flavor. Tastes kind of like a cheap white dessert wine. The sugar actually has a weird flavor to it as well; I was expecting clean sugar flavors to accompany the natural lambic funk and acidity, but everything here just tasted bored and muddled. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 13, 2007 Tasted 2007-07-23. Fresh bottle, 25cl. Looks a bit like urin with white head. But not unattractive - actually quite the opposite. Smells and tastes like most gueuzes; sour, acidic, fruits, refreshing. Perhaps it’s a bit more harsch than the standard gueuze!?! I like it!
