| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 11, 2009 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Deep golden, small head. Starts fine sourish with nice fruity notes. Very prickly and fresh. Sweet notes from the background are increasing, so the beer doesn’t go down well. Would like it more without sugar. Aroma is like an amber beer, somewhat sweet and fruity (mandarins) Tastes bittersweet, acidic, frseh, sparkling, a bit like cassis (the cherries), although it is thankfully not as sweet as other red beers I tasted (kasteel kriek for example) , Nice, a bit sourish in the finish drowland (1430), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 13, 2009 Wellllllll this is interesting, as you might expect. Big aromas from the yeast and natural bacterias... reminiscent of a farmhouse in a way... The flavor is big old sour as one might expect, though not so smooth as some other gueuzes. lassem (313), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Bottle different from the pic. 37,5 cl with orange lable and metaltop. Both with cap and cork.
Deep and clear golden colour with fluffy sparkling white head. Clearly filtered. The nose is strong and fresh with hints of soap, vinegar and young grapes. The taste is surprisingly sweet almost like a faro. The psalate is pretty straight forward and not buttery like other gueuzes tends to be. I prefer my gueuzes very bitter and very sour .. this one is not. I guess it would be a good way in to the world of lambics for starters and newbies...but ill choose a different one for myself
