Aroma is sour-sweet, apple, yeast, and malt. Medium body. Taste sweet fruit, very little souness, finisch is dry and light bitter. Good, but a little to sweet for me.

Of the Lambics that I have tried, this is interesting, but not a close second to Peche. There is little bit of sour taste to this at the end. Overall, I liked this beer. vyvvy (2059), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 23, 2007 Argh, if I would have known this was a sweetened gueuze I probably would have passed on it ~ so it goes. Pours clear amber with a hearty light tan head that laces very nicely and just coats the side of the glass. The aroma is quite faint for the style - light earthiness, some spice, funky yeast and a bit of sweetness. I couldn’t detect any sourness. Medium body with some light carbonation. Starts with candi sugar, sweet malt and light spice. It is fairly cloying. The finish has some spice and funky yeast. This was okay to drink, but a bad example of what the style is supposed to be. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 19, 2007 Pours a bright copper bronze with a nicely-lacing half-inch-thick white head. Has a nice oaky, cheesy and semi-sweet aroma with a touch of funk complexity. Body starts fairly sugary with an almost artificial sweetness and some mild earthy tartness. Finishes tangy and sweet with a touch of horseblanket. This would be better without all the added sweetness. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 9, 2007 Bottle. Pours rich gold with minimal head. Notes of sour apples, pears and oak on the nose. Quite sweet and soft on the palate. Sour malt, caramel and tart apples on the palate. Surprisingly sweet. Finishes tart, sweet and short. BDR (2162), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 26, 2007 I’m not a big fan of lindemans. Why do they always sweeten everything? Flavors are slightly funk, apple, wood, and sourness with very evident sweetness. Not a good representation of the style.
