Pours a lighter amber color with a white head. Aroma is sour and musty with some floral aromas. Flavor starts off with the sourness that gives way to the floral taste and a tartness with oak to finish. A pretty good brew.

Pours a bourbon like golden brown, with a medium frothy white head. Kinda light unoffensive nose with hints of lemon peel, leather, tart grapefruit-like citrus and a slight grassiness. The flavor is very fleeting, but gives a nice light tart flavor that is very sugary. It kind of tastes like a sour patch kid, it’s trying to be sour, but Girarden it is not. A nice unoffensive brew, like many lindemans beers are.

Golden-orange in colour, large white coloured head, great lacing. The aroma is lightly sour and acidic, wheaty, some leather, some sweetness pokes through. The flavour is lacking in sourness, tartness and has a low acidic level, more sweetness than desired, grassy, earthy, some apples. Dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes with a light lingering sweetness, quite dry. Not nearly enough of anything that I look for in a Gueuze.

Poured a orangish/tan color with a nice foamy white head. The nose had a champagne like yeastiness to it; mixed with sourdough, cider and lemon. The taste was tart and sour similar to the aroma combined with a vinious cider flavor and a citric dryness. The finish was also dry and tart. Drinkabilty was above average. I dont think I could put away more than a couple of these, but It was definately a nice flavor.

Tangy & citrusy, recalls grapefruit and sour cider. Nice and mellow clean mouth feel. Not my favorite gueze.

Pours a brown color with no head, this beer has a strong corky flavor. Not as sour as other Guezes, but this isn’t a bad thing at all. A very drinkable Gueze for those wanting to put their toe in the water.

Pours a clear copper color, initially quite lively and effervescent, topped by an inch or so of frothy nearly white foam. It settles down rapidly to just a thin film and ring. Tart funky aroma, a little fruity, grassy, and citric. Sweetish light malt flavor, with tangy apple cider overtones and a little candi sugar. These are more than adequately offset by the tart funky citrus flavor that I detected in the aroma. Nearly medium body, nice carbon dioxide zing, very nice tart and tangy aftertaste. Nowhere near as good as their Cuvee Rene, but still nice.

This was my first gueze lambic. It had an interesting champaigne like taste. I need to find more of these because this was a fantastic brew.
